Hair Journey With Redken Canada

Those who follow my blog and Instagram for a while now would notice how I used to have very dark brown hair. Six months ago, my journey of being a blonde begun, I honestly never thought I can pull off the blonde look, I start to love how it looks on my skin tone. I have very fine and dry hair, so by having blonde hair it takes a lot care and maintenance. Before my hair session with Redken, I have not received any treatment or touch up for over a month and half, my blonde hair was not in the best shape. Thank you Redken for helping me with my hair journey, this is only the first step, a step closer to my dream hair.
This Tuesday, I spent six hours at Salon Tocci in Liberty Village with my lovely Redken Artist Marie-Eve Faucher. I transformed from a very yellow toned blonde to ashier and lighter blonde. My goal for the next four months is to achieve a very light ashy blonde hair. Of course in the six hours I spent in the salon, Marie-Eve worked her magic on me! My hair was very brittle and dry, so we did not want to take the risks of going super blonde for the first session. We decided to take care and treat my hair before we go any lighter. The purpose of bonding is to prevent your hair from breaking and reduces split ends. You probably don’t notice in half of my photos, most of the hair ends are died and dry, so we have decided to be nice to my hair and cut off about two to three inches of my hair off! At first, I was nervous about the cut, but I end up for loving the length on me. It is a very chic and fashionable length for this season. I requested Marie-Eve to curl my hair, I really enjoy the messy curl look to style with my outfits.
I have already gotten a ton of compliments on my hair and this is only my first step in my hair journey with Redken, I can’t wait to see the results after four months! I also received a cute care pack from the amazing team at Redken with all the essentials I need to care for my hair, as well as to prepare me for the next hair session. Products such the diamond oil to keep my hair shiny and silky, Length sealer to prevent my hair from split ends. I know that I will be using the Redken Two Day Extender Dry Shampoo and Silver Charge purple shampoo a lot for sure! The Silver Charge does a wonderful job at keeping brassy hair away from me. Having blonde hair definitely means less shampooing and washing, this is to help your hair from going brassy! Ladies, I know having blonde hair is a lot of work, I am still struggling with maintaining it everyday. But be sure to use a ton of dry shampoo for your oily roots.
The pink kit from Redken, it focuses on blow-dry and styling, it is important to apply a heat protecter before using a hair dryer, this is to prevent your hair from drying out and lead to less damage. I also received an at home treatment of pH bonder and Protein Reconstructing treatment. I will keep you updated on my hair and until more magic with Redken!

Saint Laurent Sac De Jour Nano & Small Review

Size: Nano Hardware: Silver Material: Grained calfskin Size Dimension: 8.75"x7"x4" Price: $2,585 CAD (+taxes) Interior: Tonal suede, no additional zipper/pocket Yes, I recently purchased the classic Saint Laurent Sac De Jour in the Nano size, I absolutely love it and used it way too often maybe. This is the black with silver hardware as well as in the material of pebbled grained calfskin. It come with detachable strap with lanyard clasp fastening. When I was purchasing the bag, I was deciding between the baby or nano size for a very long time. I like how the baby size have a zipper pocket inside, but the nano does not. But the reason why I went for the nano is because I like to wear most of bag cross body, just a lot easier to get around the city. The baby size looks very awkward and big on my body when I wear it cross body. Despite the cons of not having a zipper inside, I have no issue with it. Also, when you look at the nano, you probably think it will fit nothing. Nope, y…

3 Lessons I Learned in 2018

A new year, a new chapter in life, 365 more new chances. Everyday is a day of lesson and changes. 2018 was a rough year for me, a year full of learning, especially learning from the mistakes of yesterday. Here's the three lessons that I learned in 2018:  1. Never Settle For Less It does not matter whether its relationship, career, friendships or purchases. Applying this idea in all aspects of life. Make sure to set your goal and standards for everything. In 2018, I've made some wrong investment and settling for less than you deserve. Often, we all know who we are, know what we want, and know what we deserve never settle for less. People always connect with this idea only to people. However, when it comes to career, I personally learned to never settle for less than your worth and what you deserve, and never force yourself to do what you don't like. When it come to purchasing, I've learned my lesson of never settle for a cheaper alternative. Always follow your goal and don…

Chanel Le Boy Old Medium Bag Review

Introducing my second Chanel bag: Le Boy Old Medium, yes I know I just purchased my first Chanel bag less than three months ago. It was actually not my first Chanel bag, I have previously purchased a Chanel Wallet on Chain in lambskin, but I sold it after 2 months of purchasing it because it was impossible for me to take care of lambskin pieces, I am not gentle and careful with my bags.  To be honest with you, at first this bag was a total impulse purchase, I just wanted to buy something for myself for the holiday season. To be completely real with you, I NEVER EVER receive any gifts from my parents during holiday season or my birthday, my parents was never a giving gift parents. I wanted to reward myself with something for 2017, you know sometimes you just gotta treat yo self a little. When I was making this purchase, I was deciding between whether to get the classic flap in medium size with Silver hardware and Caviar or this bag, I ended up getting this bag due to 3 reasons: 1. The cl…
