Hair Progress & Updated Routine

It’s been a while since I last updated my hair routine and my hair progress. At the beginning of October I decided to go back to Salon Tocci to have another hair session with Marie-Eve, since it’s been approximately a month since the last time I got my colour done. Over the past month, I was able to take care and improve my hair; since the beginning of my hair journey with Redken, my hair has gotten thicker and smoother! In this session, my hair was strong enough for another round of hair lightening (the last colour I had was slightly darker from my ideal colour), but now I am light beige/ash-blonde in colour with a tone of silver! I’m absolutely in love with it! I never thought I’d be able to pull off such a light colour, but it really suits my skin tone and my everyday makeup.

Trust me, I know how difficult it is to maintain this ashy blonde colour, but you know beauty is pain… Here’s some advice and my recommendations! I personally have very frizzy, thin and brittle hair, which causes my hair to look super dry all the time. I have learned to train my hair, as crazy as it sounds: currently, I wash my hair every four to five days, this was definitely a huge step for me as I went from washing my hair everyday, to only every 4-5 days. Of course, thanks to Redken’s Two Day Extender Dry Shampoo, my hair was able to look like first day hair with no oily roots or odor! I am currently using Redken’s Frizz Dismiss collection every time after washing my hair, which makes it incredibly smooth and shiny (say bye-bye to all the frizz)! One of my absolute must-haves in this collection would be the Rebel Tame this is a leave-in smoothing control cream for coarse hair; you simply apply a handful of this cream and run it through your hair after washing it. After just one use of this product, I noticed a huge difference; my hair is so silky smooth and looks shiny in all of my photos!

Some masks that I have been loving:

All Soft Heavy Cream: designed to be a rinse-out mask, but I use alternatively as a heavy-duty conditioner. I normally leave my conditioner in my hair for 10-15 minutes so that the product soaks deeply in to my hair. This product helps to moisturize dry and brittle hair and is much needed for days that you need good care and hydrating session. It adds softness and shine texture to your locks!

Frizz Dismiss Mask Treatment: I like to use it once a week for an extra frizz-free treatment. A rinse-out mask, I’d apply it and leave it in my hair for 30 to an hour, while doing some work and catch up on social media. This is a great way to nourish my hair, make it frizz-less and more manageable!

The Redken Silver Charge Shampoo: this product definitely helps to keep my brassiness away! If you know me, you would understand how much I hate seeing copper and brassy orange in my hair, I think I would go crazy looking at it! A trick I learned from dealing with blonde hair is to use a purple hair mask–this is a great purple shampoo on its own, but also a great purple hair mask as well! On bad days, when my blonde hair decided to show up with brassiness, I would mix a few drops of this shampoo with the All Soft Heavy Cream, mixing it well and applying it on my dry hair. This not only helped my hair to get rid of the brassiness, but also moisturized it. I normally leave this mask on for around 30-45 minutes and the result is incredible! I would not be able to see brassiness for weeks, and it left my hair ashy and smooth! Definitely worth a try for all you blondes!

I can’t wait for another chapter of hair magic with Redken and I’m so excited to share more with you!

  1. I'm obsessed with your hair color! I wish I was able to pull it off but it doesn't go well with my dark complexion. :( I remember dying it a yellow-blonde color a few years ago and everybody hated it because it was lighter than my skin color. I personally liked it but keeping up with it was the hard part so after a year of damage, I went back to brown/black.

It was definitely a pleasure to be able to connect with different designers and bloggers. The runway photos featuring the latest collection from Ellie Mae, contains a mix of luxury, young and comfy style. This is definitely a collection that is suitable to wear everyday. In this runway show, Ellie Mae featured New Balance shoes, which brings out the comfy look. This collection is definitely something I would wear! For Toronto Fashion week Day two, I worn this white set from Shop Convey, mixing it with some element of black. The black leather jacket from All Saints definitely levelled up this look. Also, I paired this look with a pair of black stiletto from St

Go to Jumpsuit Look

You can never go wrong with black, especially when it comes to jumpsuits. You will never have to worry about pairing top or bottoms. A black jumpsuit will be an essential in your closet. I love the belted details of this jumpsuit, which add a little shape to this flowy jumpsuit. As well as the v-neck details, it adds a little elegant look to the jumpsuit. The wider leg design, make you legs appear longer and skinnier! In this look, I dressed it down with a pair of simple flat sandals and a black wash denim jacket that  dress down the look. Of course, you can dress it up with a pair of heels, it can be transform into a night out look.  Jumpsuit:  Le Chateau Denim Jacket:  Topshop Bag:  Chanel Shoes:  Hermes The material of this jumpsuit is light and breathable, making this jumpsuit as one of my summer uniform. When in doubt, just wear a jumpsuit, its classy and effortless. Besides a little trouble when you have to go to the washroom, but definitely worth sacri

Saint Laurent Sac De Jour Nano & Small Review

Size: Nano Hardware: Silver Material: Grained calfskin Size Dimension: 8.75"x7"x4" Price: $2,585 CAD (+taxes) Interior: Tonal suede, no additional zipper/pocket Yes, I recently purchased the classic Saint Laurent Sac De Jour in the Nano size, I absolutely love it and used it way too often maybe. This is the black with silver hardware as well as in the material of pebbled grained calfskin. It come with detachable strap with lanyard clasp fastening. When I was purchasing the bag, I was deciding between the baby or nano size for a very long time. I like how the baby size have a zipper pocket inside, but the nano does not. But the reason why I went for the nano is because I like to wear most of bag cross body, just a lot easier to get around the city. The baby size looks very awkward and big on my body when I wear it cross body. Despite the cons of not having a zipper inside, I have no issue with it. Also, when you look at the nano, you probably think it
