It is already half way through November and I think it is the perfect time to start to think about the Holiday season! I have created a perfect makeup look for the upcoming Holiday season; I would actually wear this eye look everyday and feel fabulous!

The key focus of the look is on the eye shadows, we all say the “eyes are the window to the soul”, so it is important to make sure that your eye makeup game is strong and on fleek. In order to achieve this look, I used the Lancôme La Palette des Rêves, which is a limited edition palette by Lancôme for this Holiday season. The palette consists of rich tapestry of shades inspired by beautiful holiday Parisian lights and cristallin flakes of snow during a mysterious night. 6 bright eye shadows in a collector case that goes from sparking white and beige to intense warm brown, warmed by a subtle pink and gold. This look is super easy to achieve and it can be an everyday eye look.

The current retail price for the palette is $75, however I’ve partnered up with Lancôme to offer my readers a special promotion: You can get this amazing eye shadow palette for only $45 by using my Promo Code: ChloeZhang

In this blog, I will be showing you step-by-step instructions on how to achieve this makeup look!

*Colour 1-6, from left top to bottom right*

Steps 1: Apply eye primer
Step 2: Use Colour 1, apply this colour all over your eyelids, make sure it is well blended.
Step 3: Get a matte warm brown eye shadow, using a blending brush, blend this colour into your crease and the corner of your eyelid. Make sure it is well blended, and this will be a transitional colour.
Step 4: Apply Colour 3 into the corner of your eyes and extended to 1/3 of your corner eyelid. Use a flat eye shadow brush.
Step 5: Apply Colour 6 in the the very corner of your eyes and slightly creates a V-shape bringing it to the crease. Use a small and dense eye shadow brush.
Step 6: Blend everything together using the warm brown eye shadow, use the same blending brush.
Step 7: Use a flat eye shadow brush and apply Colour 2 onto your eyelid, about 2/3 front the front.
Step 8: Use the same brush as previous step, apply Colour 5 on to the center of your eyelid.
Step 9: Blend from left to right using the blending brush, *do not use more warm brown eye shadow
Step 10: Apply Colour 4 onto the tear duct.
Step 11: Use a small flat dense eye shadow brush, apply a mixture of Colour 2 & 3 to your bottom waterline.
Step 12: Use the same brush as previously, apply Colour 6, to the bottom corner of your eyes.
Step 13: You can finish the look by lining your waterline with brown pencil, and mascara or fake eyelashes.

Chanel Le Boy Old Medium Bag Review

Introducing my second Chanel bag: Le Boy Old Medium, yes I know I just purchased my first Chanel bag less than three months ago. It was actually not my first Chanel bag, I have previously purchased a Chanel Wallet on Chain in lambskin, but I sold it after 2 months of purchasing it because it was impossible for me to take care of lambskin pieces, I am not gentle and careful with my bags.  To be honest with you, at first this bag was a total impulse purchase, I just wanted to buy something for myself for the holiday season. To be completely real with you, I NEVER EVER receive any gifts from my parents during holiday season or my birthday, my parents was never a giving gift parents. I wanted to reward myself with something for 2017, you know sometimes you just gotta treat yo self a little. When I was making this purchase, I was deciding between whether to get the classic flap in medium size with Silver hardware and Caviar or this bag, I ended up getting this bag due to 3 reasons: 1. The cl…

Saint Laurent Sac De Jour Nano & Small Review

Size: Nano Hardware: Silver Material: Grained calfskin Size Dimension: 8.75"x7"x4" Price: $2,585 CAD (+taxes) Interior: Tonal suede, no additional zipper/pocket Yes, I recently purchased the classic Saint Laurent Sac De Jour in the Nano size, I absolutely love it and used it way too often maybe. This is the black with silver hardware as well as in the material of pebbled grained calfskin. It come with detachable strap with lanyard clasp fastening. When I was purchasing the bag, I was deciding between the baby or nano size for a very long time. I like how the baby size have a zipper pocket inside, but the nano does not. But the reason why I went for the nano is because I like to wear most of bag cross body, just a lot easier to get around the city. The baby size looks very awkward and big on my body when I wear it cross body. Despite the cons of not having a zipper inside, I have no issue with it. Also, when you look at the nano, you probably think it will fit nothing. Nope, y…

Blazer Season All Year Around

Blazer: Le Chateau Jeans: Citizen of Humanity Sweater: Zara Bag: Gucci Shoes: Le Chateau I am loving the latest blazer trend and it is here to stay! Of course, I think a classic cut of a simple black and white blazer should be in everyone's wardrobe, it will definitely come useful despite the occasion. Who say you can be stylish while wearing a "work piece"? Don't let the idea of white piece stop you from styling it a different way, I think a blazer is so multifunctional and versatile. I am always huge lover of blazers, since it elevate a simple look to classier look. Of course, a little pattern blazer would adds a nice touch to a plain one! Especially these plaid patterned blazer, it is current one of the hottest trend for 2018 and it is not going away for some time! In this look, I styled a two wardrobe essentials: white turtle neck sweater and blue denim, but this Le Chateau blazer instantly dress up the entire look. On warmer days, this look can be switched up with a …
