Get Personal With Me

2016
It was a great year for me. It was full of adventures, learning experiences and opportunities. I learned how to be a better blogger and share more and more content with the world. Enjoy explore variety different parts of Toronto, finding new spots to take photos; such as cafe cafe, new restaurants to try out.

Blogging is not as easy as it looks, hundreds and thousands of photos later finding that one perfect photo to post. A photo may look simple, but the work behind it is often neglected. A photo goes through the process of filtering, carefully selecting, editing and then being posted.

I remember when I started blogging in 2014, it was under rated and not high concentrated with users. There were a smaller amount of users on Instagram platform as well. I started off with focusing on Instagram first, then realizing that I have more photos and contents to post and share to the world, I decided to expand my platform to blog as well, where I can share more contents and photos.

Why I started Instagram?
I was in last year of high school when I started posting contents on Instagram. I wanted to focus on school but I was not sure what I wanted major in university. A lot you may not know, I went to an uniformed high school, I only get to wear my own clothes once in a whole month, which was the date that I always look forward to. That is when I realized how much I love fashion and keeping up with trends, which triggered my desire to share how I style clothing to the world. Honestly, I started my account for the sake of fun and to continue exploring my passion and what really interests me.

How I got to where I am today?
Completely honest with you, I don't even know. One thing I can tell you is it will take time, a lot of time. You will not be considered Instagram famous in a matter of one day or one week. It took me two almost three years to get to where I am today. Consistency is also important, if you don't post often, you may be forgotten, so posting on a daily has the best result.

What is it like to be a Full Time Student and a Blogger?
I am currently a second year Economic major, I started first year majoring in a field that I was not interested in and doing it for my parents, I decided to switch my major this fall. With a full course load and blogging on the side, it was not easy. Along with a part time job along side with all these hectic schedule, it was insane. It is all about finding the balance in between these three positions, I have classes most of time throughout the week, on my shorter class dates, I would take my time out from studying and make time to shoot some photos. During my weekends, I am normally out shooting during the day, editing photos and studying during the night. A lot people think I don't do anything throughout the day, all I have to do is staying at home all day and work behind the computer screen. Which is completely false, of course I do that on days when I have enough content to post, I would stay at home editing on my blog posts and photos, as well as studying and do my readings. Throughout this hectic schedule, I learned that do what you love and you would not regret a day of "work".

Advice From Me
I think the most important part of Instagram and blogging is staying true to yourself. I always love making contents, especially when I create contents that I can impress myself. It is important not to lose yourself in the social media world. No one is perfect, there will be love and hates, you cannot create contents that please everyone. As long you love what you are doing, it is while worth it.

2017
There are a lot of things I look forward to in 2017, it will be a year with more adventures and opportunities. I look forward to learn more about myself in the coming year. I cannot till more adventures on traveling and exploring different parts of the world.

Love,
Chloe Zhang

Saint Laurent Sac De Jour Nano & Small Review

Size: Nano Hardware: Silver Material: Grained calfskin Size Dimension: 8.75"x7"x4" Price: $2,585 CAD (+taxes) Interior: Tonal suede, no additional zipper/pocket Yes, I recently purchased the classic Saint Laurent Sac De Jour in the Nano size, I absolutely love it and used it way too often maybe. This is the black with silver hardware as well as in the material of pebbled grained calfskin. It come with detachable strap with lanyard clasp fastening. When I was purchasing the bag, I was deciding between the baby or nano size for a very long time. I like how the baby size have a zipper pocket inside, but the nano does not. But the reason why I went for the nano is because I like to wear most of bag cross body, just a lot easier to get around the city. The baby size looks very awkward and big on my body when I wear it cross body. Despite the cons of not having a zipper inside, I have no issue with it. Also, when you look at the nano, you probably think it

3 Lessons I Learned in 2018

A new year, a new chapter in life, 365 more new chances. Everyday is a day of lesson and changes. 2018 was a rough year for me, a year full of learning, especially learning from the mistakes of yesterday. Here's the three lessons that I learned in 2018:  1. Never Settle For Less It does not matter whether its relationship, career, friendships or purchases. Applying this idea in all aspects of life. Make sure to set your goal and standards for everything. In 2018, I've made some wrong investment and settling for less than you deserve. Often, we all know who we are, know what we want, and know what we deserve never settle for less. People always connect with this idea only to people. However, when it comes to career, I personally learned to never settle for less than your worth and what you deserve, and never force yourself to do what you don't like. When it come to purchasing, I've learned my lesson of never settle for a cheaper alternative. Always follow your
