Must Have for the Season: Long Trench Robe Coats

I think this is one of my favourite go to look for this fall and winter: The long robe trench style coat, stepping up every causal and simple look. The robe tie on the waist adds a little luxurious look to elevates every look.

LOOK #1

Sweater: Club Monaco
Jeans: Mavi Jeans
Boots: Topshop
Bag: Chanel

The addiction may be a little overboard? You tell me, haha I am just a little in love with these love coats, I think it really elongated my legs! This one I am styling is from Revolve, slightly more thick in compared to my other coats, because the extra lining inside the coat, it really keeps you warm! This is in the blue checkered pattern, as you may already know: checkered clothing pieces is huge for this season. So you definitely cannot go wrong with this coat! I incorporated blue ripped denim instead of black to balance out the blue of the jacket. Simple paired it with a simple black leather boots, balanced out with a black bag. In term of the white shirt, it balance itself out with partial whites from the jacket.

LOOK #2

Top: Aritzia
Coat: Tularosa
Boots: 1 State

Fall and winter season, it is a perfect season to pull out all the possible pieces in forest green or dark green. This is a rare colour to find especially in a trench robe style, I think it adds a great touch to the season. I finished of this simple look with this paperboy hat, definitely adding that Persian look to it!

LOOK #3

Belt: Gucci
Boots: Zara
Coat: Ever New

The big statement piece in this look would be the cashmere coat from Ever New, it gives a big a highlight to a mostly all black look, expect for the beige nude boots. Pairing of the the nude boots is to balance out the light colour of the look, rather than over powering it with all black. This is a perfect light colour must have jacket, it is light but well made coat, which will last for years, as well as it is a classic piece, you can never go wrong with a beige trench belted style coat.

Love,
Chloe

Holiday Gift Guides: His & Hers 2017

It is that time of the year again! Busy holiday season filled with many holiday shoppings lists. Every year, although I don't have a big friend group but I still struggled with buying the perfect Christmas gift for my friends. This year I have put together a little gift guide ideas, for both male and female. To be honest, females are probably the hardest to shop for, there's just too many options to select from. I even have trouble choosing what I want most of time. When it comes to gifting, unless the person is super specific with exactly the item she or he wants, it will be a struggle. But knowing the person's style, favourite colour and sizes are essentials to buy the "perfect" gift. Everyone's style is pretty different, different individuals like different pieces. I have put together a couple different gift guides for people with different style and individualities. That being said, my gift guides are according to my own opinion and what I think its most …

Back To Black Hair

Everyone was surprised by my hair colour, I went from blonde to black real quick in the past week. I've been blonde for two years now, constantly getting my hair done, bleaching, or toning every three to six weeks. My hair is getting thinner and thinner, as well as a lot of my hair start to fall out more and more, also I already have very thin hair to begin with. My hair's quality unable my hairstylist to bleach further to achieve the dream ashy grey blonde look that I always wanted. However, I am thankful my hairstylist Gwyneth Fung at Toni & Guy Yorkville, I am for sure a challenge. I am very picky with my hair and constantly having different shade of blonde. About a month ago, Gwyneth introduced a dark toner with a tint of blue, grey and black tone, into my blonde hair. It took me by surprise, at that moment it triggered me wanting my black hair back. One thing about this toner is the colour fades overtime. The black tone would last about 3 washes, then fades into a ver…
