Two of my greatest fears are wearing colours and failures. You can probably tell already, I get uncomfortable wearing colours beside my monochromatic and neutral palettes. I am slowly stepping out of my comfort zone, challenging to try new colour palettes.
It is all about:
"Get comfortable with the uncomfortable.
Get confident being uncertain.
Don't give up because something is hard,
pushing through challenges is what makes you grow."
I have selected this easy spring blush colour to pair with white, the combination of these two colour creates a soft look. The idea of being fashionable does not necessary means wearing black and white. I think being fashionable means being able to rock any colours, whether its pink, red or green.
This reminds of my second fear, the fear of failures. Often, we are not fear of changes, but we are fear of the unknown. 3 years ago, I gave up chasing my parents' career goal for me to become a doctor, after dedicating most of my years specializing in the sciences field. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and study in a field that interested me, I wanted to do something I love. It was not an easy decision for myself, I was very comfortable with sciences, especially after graduating high school with Specialist High Skill Major in Healthcare, along with Advance placement in Math and Sciences. This is when I continued my interests in blogging and majoring in Human Geography. At this moment of my life, I was everything I fear of, I was a failure to my parents. Knowing all the uncertainties and potential of being jobless after graduating. But, I did not stop challenging myself, I found joy in the things I do. If you asked me now if I regret my decision? My answer is NO. In the last three years, I went through many struggles and dealing with many situations that I was not comfortable with, including being financially unstable, and not doing well in school. The rest was history. I have grow into a better person and opening myself for challenges. Go above and beyond your comfort zone, this is a key for growth!
