My Microblading Experience

As many of you know I recently got my eyebrows microbladed by Tiffany at Brow Beaute. Today, I am sharing with you my experience about microblading. I've been considering getting my eyebrows microbladed for sometimes now, I've been doing my researches on microblading and top Toronto Microbladding locations. Also, I posted a recommendation microblading post on my instagram story. The number one recommended place was Brow Beaute by my followers. I took a look at Brow Beaute's work, I knew she is one that I want to get my eyebrows done with! Her work are clean and natural. You don't understand how excited I was when I booked my appointment with Tiffany and being able to wake up with the perfect eyebrows!
So what is Mircoblading?
It is a Semi-Permanent tattooing technique which creates hairlike strokes to fill in your eyebrows and creating a better shape for your eyebrows. All the pigment from microblading are not implanted into the skin as a deep as a normal tattoo, it typically last about one to three years depending on your skin type. It is recommended to get a yearly touch up to keep the colour of the eyebrows. In terms of pricing, most of good microblading location charge a starting rate of $400 dollars and up depending on the technician and their experiences.
What makes me decided to get Microblading?
1. Save me time in the morning. Eyebrows is the hardest to fill for me, it takes somewhere from 10 to 30 minutes, to make my eyebrows to look decent every morning.
2. Better overall shape and structure. One of biggest struggle is even out both side of eyebrows, they always look like cousins rather than sisters... Yep. Story of my eyebrows.
3. It is an investment for yourself. Yes, when you have to pay a couple hundred dollars for your eyebrows, I see it as an investment, but its a worthwhile investment. You will wake up every morning with perfect eyebrows and no longer afraid that someone will rub off your eyebrows! Also, it will save you money from buying all the expensive eyebrow products, all you really need is a setting eyebrow gel.
Meet Tiffany - The Owner of Brow Beaute
The space at Brow Beaute is extreme clean and organized, also they have the best tea selection!
The location itself is located at 1583 Dupont Street. A little more west side of Toronto.
Tiffany is super sweet and patience person. During the day of getting my eyebrow microblading session, she explained every steps and information in great details, which was very helpful.
We worked together and achieve my perfect brow shape, she was able to even out the height of my eyebrows and fix the arch on my right eyebrow, due to a noticeable muscle.
I think these eyebrow images can speak for itself. Honestly, prior to getting my eyebrows done I was totally fine with my eyebrows, haha but who am I kidding.... As you can tell from the image, I totally cannot fill in my own eyebrows properly.. I did not even notice until I saw these image myself. I do have pretty full eyebrows naturally, but one of my biggest struggle when I fill in my own brows is the front and the tails of my eyebrows. No matter what products I used, my tail of my brows always comes off throughout the day. As for the front of my eyebrows, I always feel like I cannot achieve the ombre fading effect, it is always too strong and dark at the front. Tiffany performed not only just microbladding but as well as micro shading technique, which help me achieve the natural ombre effect.
During Microblading
Tiffany applied a numbing cream on my eyebrows prior to microblading. After consulting with Tiffany about how I like my eyebrows and mapping out how she is going to microblade my eyebrows. Once the numbing cream is activated, I was lying down for about an hour. The pain is definitely tolerable for me, I did not feel much of the pain and took a little nap. The final step of rubbing off the pigment on the eyebrows hurt a little more. Other than that, the pain of microblading is definitely tolerable, just feel like paper cuts on your eyebrows. The whole process takes about two hours.
Post Microblading
I was informed by Tiffany not to go to the gym for at least two days after microblading and avoid my eyebrows from getting wet before it heals completely. When I shower, I actually tape a plastic wrap on top of my eyebrows to avoid water. Yes, I went through the post microblading healing process and it was an ugly process, but no pain no gain right? But I think I was the lucky one, my healing process was short and the scabs fell off super quick.
Day 1 - Day 3: The pigmentation was a lot darker, my eyebrows looked like sharpie eyebrows..
Day 3 - Day 5:  Process of scabbing, the end of my eyebrows started the scabbing process first, some scabs started to fell off.
Day 5 - Day 8: The front of eyebrows started its scabbing and peeling process.
Day 9 - Day 10: Recovering phrase, I only have couple small scabs left on my eyebrows, I was able to put some gel on my eyebrows.
Notes: I did not pick on my eyebrows, I allow it fell out naturally. I also asked my friends opinion in regard to my healing process, they said it was not bad and noticeable, it was a short time frame as well. I know some people takes up to two week or even three to recover completely from scabbing and healing process.
Touch Up Session
I personally find the touch up session to be slightly more painful in compare to the first session, it is a 45 minutes to an hour of touch up session. This session is normally 5 weeks after the first session. It is to help to enhance the pigmentation on your skin and as well as touch up on spots that the pigment did not absorb properly. In terms of healing process, it was very fast for me, around day 3 to day 5 after this touch up session, my scabbing was falling off quickly, even faster than the first time. Around day 5 and 6, it was completely healed!
My Thoughts
I actually have recommended microblading to many of family members and friends after my experience. I think it is definitely worth the money, my eyebrows ended up looking very natural, and save me a lot time in the morning, I used to take an hour to do my makeup every morning; thanks to this pair of microbladded brows,  it saved me that extra 30 minutes to sleep in! However, I do recommend you go to a reputable microblading spot to get your eyebrows done. Save you that $100 dollars may ruin your eyebrows. And your eyebrows is one of the most important feature on your face, it either makes you or ruin you... Trust me, don't say I did not warn you. Of course, I would highly recommend you to check out Brow Beaute if you are considering microblading and like my results, definitely an 11 out of 10 rating from me!

  1. This is such an informative post. You have a lot of really great points. I wish I had this post as a resource when I started blogging.Microblading Eyebrows

  2. Looking Good. This content is very valuable. Thank you so much for sharing this post. Regards Cosmetic Eyebrow Tattooing

  3. Overwhelmed by your 11 out of 10 rating. Would think your procedure went really well plus you sure are quite the patient one as you take good care of your eyebrows the right way. In the Philippines, this eyebrow micrblading clinic in Manila is a good place to get your brows done plus compared to the price this is way cheaper, however, the distance is the question.

  4. My mom is interested in eyebrow microblading Manila. Now I know why she is sold out on the idea of it. Thanks for sharing your experience. I am now convinced that mom needs this procedure.

Also, I paired this look with a pair of black stiletto from St

Go to Jumpsuit Look

You can never go wrong with black, especially when it comes to jumpsuits. You will never have to worry about pairing top or bottoms. A black jumpsuit will be an essential in your closet. I love the belted details of this jumpsuit, which add a little shape to this flowy jumpsuit. As well as the v-neck details, it adds a little elegant look to the jumpsuit. The wider leg design, make you legs appear longer and skinnier! In this look, I dressed it down with a pair of simple flat sandals and a black wash denim jacket that  dress down the look. Of course, you can dress it up with a pair of heels, it can be transform into a night out look.  Jumpsuit:  Le Chateau Denim Jacket:  Topshop Bag:  Chanel Shoes:  Hermes The material of this jumpsuit is light and breathable, making this jumpsuit as one of my summer uniform. When in doubt, just wear a jumpsuit, its classy and effortless. Besides a little trouble when you have to go to the washroom, but definitely worth sacri

Saint Laurent Sac De Jour Nano & Small Review

Size: Nano Hardware: Silver Material: Grained calfskin Size Dimension: 8.75"x7"x4" Price: $2,585 CAD (+taxes) Interior: Tonal suede, no additional zipper/pocket Yes, I recently purchased the classic Saint Laurent Sac De Jour in the Nano size, I absolutely love it and used it way too often maybe. This is the black with silver hardware as well as in the material of pebbled grained calfskin. It come with detachable strap with lanyard clasp fastening. When I was purchasing the bag, I was deciding between the baby or nano size for a very long time. I like how the baby size have a zipper pocket inside, but the nano does not. But the reason why I went for the nano is because I like to wear most of bag cross body, just a lot easier to get around the city. The baby size looks very awkward and big on my body when I wear it cross body. Despite the cons of not having a zipper inside, I have no issue with it. Also, when you look at the nano, you probably think it
